La Alhambra

World Heritage Site, the complex of the Alhambra is the most emblematic, known and visited monument of Granada. 3.000.000 million people visited La Alhambra last year.

The great extension of the complex and the beauty of its rooms cause that the visit lasts at least two hours and average. It is almost necessary to book in advance the entrance, especially at times of great affluence of visitors.

The monumental complex is formed by the Alcazaba, fortified military area; the Palaces, royal residence; and the palace and the gardens of the Generalife, summer royal residence.

The water is present in the main rooms of the monument: the famous Patio de los Leones, the not less well-known Patio de los Arrayanes, the Sala de dos Hermanas, the Sala de los Abencerrajes, the real Baños...

Prices

Diurnal visit. It includes the visit zones of the Alcazaba, Nasrid Palaces, Generalife, Bath of the Mosque and Gardens. They are divided in two turns: Morning (8:30-14:00 h.) and Afternoon (14:00-18:00/20:00 h).
Price: 12,00 euros

Nocturnal visit.It only includes the visit zones of the Nasrid Palaces. The capacity is reduced (400 pax). Price: 12,00 euros.

Schedule

From November to Frebruary:

Diurnal.Monday to Sunday 8.30-18.00 h. Ticket office 8.00-17.00h.
Nocturnal. Friday and Saturdays 20.00-21.30 h. Ticket office: 19.30-20.30 h.

From March to October:

Diurnal. Monday to Sunday 8.30-20.00 h. Ticket office: 8.00-19.30 h.
Nocturnal. Tuesday to Saturday 22.00-23.30 h. Ticket office: 21.30-22.30 h.

The Alhambra closes the 25th of December and 1st of January.
